simplehuman is a company that creates ‘tools for efficient living’ – products that have been meticulously engineered to bring innovation to everyday routines, and that are built to last.
Objectives
The Goals
Circus PPC and simplehuman began working together at the beginning of August, with aims to reach and maintain a specific COS target. simplehuman also wanted to continue their PPC growth journey across both their UK and EU accounts.
Implementation
The Activity
Upon taking over the account, we began restructuring in order to help better set up the account for success in achieving our client’s targets.
In order to pinpoint the activity that would help drive performance, we tested a new brand structure, DSA structure, and remarketing – as this hadn’t been previously running effectively. This helped us to identify where budget was being wasted and where it could be better allocated.
Other account updates, on top of daily account optimisation, include:
- Switching campaigns built on Google’s Merchant Centre, to Shoptimised;
- Implementing performance rules across all accounts;
- Tweaks to aggression and budgets;
- Restructuring all PMax activity.
Since beginning to work together, we’ve achieved a COS stronger than the desired target in the majority of the months spent working together, despite a huge amount of changes across not only the UK account, but also international accounts.
At the end of 2023, ongoing good performance and an ambitious sales target for 2024 meant incorporating new actions to our strategy, with aims to continue growing the account and driving performance.
Success
The Results
Since taking on the simplehuman UK account, we’ve seen steady YOY growth. Comparing January 2023 to 2024, our client saw:
+11% rev increase
+17% sales increase
+6% ROI increase
-6% COS decrease
This year, we’ve continued to work on growing the simplehuman UK account, YOY bringing in an additional £105k revenue between 1st January-10th March.
