Meet The Team – Robyn

Robyn joins Circus as a Marketing Executive with previous experience as a journalist.

Name: Robyn Dobson
Role: Marketing Executive

What first made you want to pursue a career in Marketing?
I started my career in journalism and always enjoyed getting to find the compelling narratives to increase audience engagement. I also love content writing, so marketing felt like the next logical step in my career development!  

What’s your favourite thing about working at Circus (so far)?
The people and the atmosphere! Everyone has been so welcoming, and I really feel like I’m part of a team for one of the first times in my career.  

Who is your dream client?
M&S. I’m there more than I’d like to admit (and perhaps in the hope they’d give us some free cookies from their bakery). 

What’s your dream holiday destination?
Japan or New Zealand. My mom’s side is from Japan, so I’d love to visit, and I think New Zealand looks beautiful.  

What would your desert island meal be?
A big bowl of pasta (preferably with salmon), garlic bread and a piece of cheesecake.  

Tell us something about you that might surprise people.
I got to do some pretty fun stories when I was a journalist. My favourite story was when I got to interview Nick Offerman (you might recognise him from Parks and Recreation or The Last of Us). I heard some interesting (and funny) stories from him! 

If you could guest star on a TV show, which one would it be and why?
The Amazing Race. I think it would be a great way to visit a ton of new countries!
