The Client
Taking Care is a UK-based provider of personal alarms, telecare, and emergency monitoring services, working with renowned charity Age UK to protect older and vulnerable adults. They began working with Circus PPC in 2025, wanting to work with an agency that could help them to improve their paid media performance.
/ 02
The Challenge
With PPC and Paid Social historically planned and optimised in isolation, each channel was doing its own job well enough, but neither was built with the other in mind. That meant no shared learnings, inconsistent strategies, and siloed budgets.
/ 03
The Solution
The opportunity was to treat both channels as parts of the same funnel rather than parallel activities competing for the same budget conversations. Search was well placed to capture rising high-intent demand, but scaling it with confidence meant knowing Paid Social could handle prospecting efficiently rather than needing to do that job itself.

The Results
During H1 2026, we scaled Search spend by 70% to meet demand, growing orders by 59% while CPA moved just 7%. At the same time, we refined Meta’s strategy and creative allowing spend to hold flat while orders almost doubled, and CPA halved. With each channel playing to its strength, the two worked together rather than overlapping: Search scaled volume while holding efficiency, Social improved efficiency while growing volume, and the combined effect was stronger than either channel alone.
